Kitchen Renovation -- Home Tour Part 1

Pretty much everything in our home was still builder-grade when we bought it, with the exception of a few upgrades, like our granite countertops and bar. The countertops are the only things we didn’t touch in our kitchen. We started off with painting the entire downstairs in Benjamin Moore’s London Fog, and replacing the black appliances with stainless steel.

We Painted a Door Black...And Then Painted It Back

Sometimes, though, these home projects don’t always go as planned. So far it seems that what should be the hardest projects, like tiling the backsplash, have actually been the easiest (Aaron had never tiled before, and he knocked it out in about 3 hours, including measuring and cutting all of the individual tiles), whereas the “easy” projects end up being the most complicated and stressful, like our most recent project, painting a door.
